Bacterial activity in aquariums starts at the same time as the installation. In an aquarium environment that hosts many beneficial and harmful bacteria, Cycle Start selectively feeds only nitrifying bacteria and accelerates their growth. The extremely slow growth and development of ammonia and nitrite oxidizing bacteria slows down the completion of the nitrification cycle in aquariums. This situation significantly extends the time required to add living organisms to the aquarium. Nitrite oxidation, which is expected to occur after ammonia oxidation, takes place in the second step and is the longest step in the nitrification cycle.
