REVEX
REVEX is a synthetic adsorbent produced for the removal of natural organic substances, organic wastes and tannins.
REVEX is a synthetic adsorbent produced for the removal of natural organic substances, organic wastes and tannins. Organic wastes indirectly cause a decrease in the redox potential of the water. By removing nitrogenous organic wastes such as ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, it creates a healthier environment for fish and therefore increases the redox potential. Revex is a successful tannin scavenger. Decorative trees and roots used in aquariums release tannin and cause the water to turn yellow. Revex collects the tannin in a short time and provides a clearer appearance to the aquarium.
Regeneration
REVEX can be regenerated many times. REVEX loses its adsorbing ability over time and can be easily renewed with its special solution. The color will darken as REVEX is used. When the color darkens, you can regenerate with REVEX regeneration fluid.
Note: Never use other chemicals in the regeneration process. Other chemicals may degrade Revex and reduce its working capacity. May harm aquarium creatures.
